The WLLID 2025 AGM will be held on 29 October 2026 at 7pm, Wasa Community Hall.

A review of 2025 activities will be presented along with a water report and the financial statements.

Following the AGM, a vote to elect four (4) Trustee positions will be held.

Six residents have accepted nominations: Pam Schneider, Sharon Prinz, Marli Price, Pam Heaton, Penny Flagel and Kathryn Fitzgerald.

Residents welcome to attend.

The WLLID Board met for the last time before the 2025 AGM. The Board focused on preparations for the event.

The AGM is set for 29 October, 7pm, at the Wasa Community Hall.

Current Board Chair, Nowell Berg, will present a review of WLLID activities for 2025. A water report will also be made along with a review of the parcel tax parameters. The 2025 Financial Statements will also be presented.

After the formal part of the AGM, an election will be held to fill four (4) vacant positions.

Nominations closed at 12 midnight, 14 October, 2026.

Six (6) people have accepted a nomination and will stand for election. They are: Pam Schneider, Sharon Prinz, Marli Price, Pam Heaton, Penny Fagel and Kathryn Fitzgerald.

All WLLID taxpayers are urged to attend and vote.

Webmaster Wanted

The WLLID is looking for a person to manage the WordPress website – wasalake.ca. The duties include keeping content up-to-date, posting Board minutes, Board reports, water quantity and quality reports that include water elevation numbers and E. coli readings, along with posting photos and videos as needed.

Most of the water content website work occurs from May to September. For the rest of the year, the work is focused on Board activities.

This is a paid position. Hourly rate to be determined based on qualifications.
